I remember a long stretch of time where the Flyers farm system's better prospects were the equivalent to current prospects like Ratcliffe and Vorobyev. Those guys could end up being solid pros. We're lucky to have guys like Frost and Farabee and the high ceilings they have. |

The days of Jon Matsumoto and Stefan Legein seem like distant memories.

yeah and you look at Brink and York and they have upside, maybe top 4 or top 6 potential. Truth be told players that are coming up just more skilled than yesteryear. I hope Allison continues, I hope they keep drafting and find some gems in the later rounds. |

Any idea when the NHL All Star Game will come back to Philly? It's been 28 years now. |

The soonest would be 2023, since it's in FLA next year and they alternate east/west. But, personally, I much prefer other NHL events to the All-Star Game. Loved when the drafts in 2013 and 2014 were in NJ and then Philly. |

Hoping for another 28. Although having Crosby (assuming he gets voted in) barricaded in his hotel for a week is an amusing thought. |

Agreed. The draft in Philly was awesome. I really enjoyed it. I have almost zero interest in any All-Star event for any sport.
Hopefully Philly will host the Stanley Cup Finals in the near future. |

some good results for the prospects last weekend. wade allison on a goal scoring run w 4 in 4 games. he seems to have a decent ceiling when healthy. attard and wylie had good games too, brink and york performing fine all season. we really could use one of the forwards in the system to surprise us w scoring upside as a top 9 skater, either from our early picks in LV or some if the mid round picks in the minors. but alas, another oskar might be a stretch in the current pool. heck, ex brink, another 15-20 goal scorer would be a lovely and pleasant surprise. just no one catching my eye yet. had high expectations for ratcliff but that isnt in his game yet. |

Fahr's comments on Vorobyev are a nice counter to the send-the-bum-back-to-Russia crap you see on twitter from certain parts of the fanbase. |

"Belfour was found on the second floor of the Kentucky Grand Hotel and Spa, 'clutching a curtain rod that had been ripped out of the dry wall above a window next to him. The subject was kicking the spa door while he was laying on the ground.'
The citation reveals that the Carman, MB native was not compliant with officers"
God bless you, Eagle. |

Judging by that mugshot, it looks like he is on a little something more than just alcohol... |

Happy pills?
Edit: What was not reported was that the police had to call Mike Keenan to get him "pulled" from the room.
I'll show myself out now.... |

He and JR should hang out. Then can relive the playoff OT goal from 04, get blasted and talk about Kathryn Tappen.. What could go wrong?
Man 80s and 90s hockey players were a lot more interesting haha |
